This module is delivered by Rosa Smith. She leads us through the process of observing, understanding and engaging with a foreign culture.
Good observation and interpretation of the human environment leads to understanding culture and the discovery of how best to engage with it.

Rosa will discuss 6 continuums of culture and illustrate them with many stories and practical examples.
A continuum is something that changes in character gradually or in very slight stages without any clear dividing points. Think of the 4 seasons of the weather, there is a gradual change from one season to another, but ultimately the difference in temperature between summer and winter can be significant.
Culture has gradients of change and differentiation, and this is what Rosa will be teaching us about.
You will have a full tool belt to assist in effectively crossing and engaging culture when you complete this module.
