Language Learning as Ministry

Are you excited to minister in another culture, but worried about how best to learn the language and culture of the people you are going to serve? Lucy will provide helpful tools and dispel common myths about language acquisition and cultural understanding as well as share a hopeful outlook. Meanwhile Lindy will take us deeper into the subject of contextualisation by providing both theological and practical challenges and illustrations on this important subject.

You will discover how Language Learning is an essential part of successfully understanding and engaging with your target group. Also you will see how having a grasp on how to contextually communicate in your new culture in a new language will change you in dramatic ways.
